Prodip Marcel Rozario started working as Executive Director of Abdur Rashid Khan Thakur Foundation-ARKTF on September 1, 2014. He was born on April 01, 1966 into an aristocratic family. Among 7 siblings, he is the fourth one. He has completed post-graduation (Marketing) on 1990 from Dhaka University. As the other education, he has completed a “Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management (HRM)” from Southeast University, Dhaka. Besides, he has participated in various training courses organized at home and abroad; those are “Executive Certificate Course on Understanding Development” from Department of Development Studies, Dhaka University, Dhaka, “Special Session of the General Assembly on Children Third Substantive Session” from United Nations Children Fund, New York, USA, “Objective Oriented Project Planning (ZOPP) Basic Course” from ZCU, Bangladesh, “Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA)” from NOVA Consultancy Bangladesh(NCB), “Market Research Training” from Business Advisory Services Center (BASC), “Motivating Employees for Better Performance” from Bangladesh Management Development Center(BMDC), “Self-Management training” from Bangladesh Management Development Center(BMDC),

Mr. Rozario has more than 30 years working experience in the development field, having professional experience in designing, planning, management and implementation of donor-funded projects, preparing innovative project proposals on various development issues and negotiating with the donors during project formulation and implementation process, mobilizing civil society for platform building initiatives around broader emerging social issues and providing effective support for strengthening these initiatives. He has reasonable understanding in social development issues. Over the years, he has made contributions to the field of Human Rights and Good Governance as well as comprehensive community development programs in various sectors including children, women, adolescents, disaster management, food security and nutrition, water and sanitation, income generating activities, micro finance, education and mainstreaming people with disabilities. He was chosen such a difficult work due to do something for the underprivileged and helpless people especially children and women by giving up searching for other comfortable jobs.
